Marriot Bonvoy has opened Morea House in Camp’s Bay – the group’s first Autograph Collection hotel in Cape Town.
The hotel features 90 rooms and suites designed by local interior architect Tristan du Plessis with mountain or ocean views.
On the ground floor, the OMRI restaurant serves modern Lebanese-South African cuisine and features a beach-facing terrace and indoor bar. On the second floor, Morea House Pool Restaurant offers fresh, seasonal dishes next to the hotel’s swimming pool. Additional public areas include The Courtyard outdoor relaxation area, various guest lounges and The Wine Room for private wine tastings and gatherings.
The hotel’s spa offers a variety of signature treatments.
“When guests arrive, our intention is for them to feel as if they’ve discovered a sanctuary created just for them. We want them to leave restored, reconnected and carrying with them the essence of this place,” said GM Albert Smit.
